RACE ONE

Punters, particularly those betting on the Reggae 6, had a daunting start as Lady Karma won this event at 10-1 odds. In her seventh career start, the Fitznahum Williams-trained filly was guided to victory by jockey Anthony Allen. Williams celebrated his second win in 2023 from 27 entries, while Allen enjoyed his ninth win from 145 rides. Lady Karma's first victory occurred in a three-year-old maiden race at 5 ½ furlongs. She may likely succeed at the non-winners of two level but could face challenges afterward.

RACE TWO

Thunderstrike extended jockey Bebeto Harvey's winning streak, who concluded last weekend with three victories. The ever-cheerful trainer Gary Crawford celebrated his sixth win of 2023 from 27 starts. Thunderstrike achieved her fourth career success in 44 races.

RACE THREE

In a race suited to his running style, Mr Senator, ridden by Jawara Steadman and trained by Anthony Nunes, triumphantly defeated competitors in this three-year-old maiden race at a mile distance. This victory was redemption for Mr Senator's connections after a previous disqualification. Steadman's performance demonstrated promise, and he will likely benefit from additional riding opportunities.

RACE FOUR

Atomica, the reigning Horse of the Year, continued her dominance with a fourth consecutive win. This exceptional filly seems to be back in top form and is peaking just in time for upcoming major races such as the Jamaica Cup (November), the Mouttet Mile (early December), and potentially the Ian Levy Cup in late December. Atomica's most recent triumph occurred over ten furlongs in the Menudo Trophy.

RACE FIVE

As anticipated, Hoist The Mast found success upon stepping down to claimer ranks for the first time. With a $750,000 claiming tag, the Anthony Nunes-trained five-year-old was guided into the lead by Tevin Foster and secured victory despite a late challenge from former stable companion G T Boy. This marked Nunes' second win of the day.
