The seventh event on the ten-race card scheduled for Saturday, September 12, 2026, is open to local three- and four-year-olds (NW3) as well as imported three- and four-year-olds (NW3).
A compact field of five, all foreign-bred three-year-olds will compete over a distance of eight furlongs (one mile).

1 – NOVIO (USA)

Novio remains a tricky runner to gauge. She has shown a tendency to lead and then fade over 7 ½ furlongs, yet she finishes strongly when sprinting over shorter trips. In her last outing, she was edged out by a head by Purosangue at 7 ½ furlongs. On Saturday, she carries the same 123 lbs, whereas Purosangue moves up 3 lbs to match her weight. While the step up to a full mile favours Purosangue's style, Novio remains a major threat in this contest.
2 – COMUNA TRECE (USA)

Since scoring an upset victory on July 4, Comuna Trece has struggled to produce a competitive effort. That trend looks likely to continue here.
3 – UNBELIEVABLE POWER (USA)
Chestnut filly (April 6) by Accelerate – Fastest Spin

Finished 16 lengths behind the dominant Gallant Groom in her previous start. Returning to face much more manageable company, she is in a strong position to turn her form around.
4 – PUROSANGUE (USA)

Rallied late to nab stablemate Novio on the line over 7 ½ furlongs on August 15. The stretch-out to a mile suits him ideal, a distance over which he has already won. Continuing to look sharp in his morning workouts, he holds a commanding claim.
5 – OLIVIA D’ ORO (USA)
Brown filly (March 17) by Enticed – Lil Bess

Was soundly beaten by both Novio and Purosangue on August 15, finishing seven lengths adrift. She remains at 117 lbs while Novio stays at 123 lbs and Purosangue carries 3 lbs more, leaving her with little help from the handicapper. Her best hope lies in the equipment modification triggering an improved performance.
VERDICT: While Novio is expected to provide a honest pace up front, the extra half-furlong heavily favors her stablemate PUROSANGUE (4). Having already proven himself over a mile and coming off a strong late-running victory, he looks best equipped to handle the distance and take this contest. Unbelievable Power (3) drops to a far more manageable level to pose the main threat for the minor placings alongside a brave Novio (1).
