The fifth race on Saturday, September 12 is a three-year-old maiden special weight contest restricted to fillies only.
Eight horses have been nominated to compete in this event over five furlongs coming down the straight course.

1 – FOREVER GRATEFUL
Chestnut filly (February 7) by Verve’s Humor out of Sandbath
Trainer – Fitzgerald Richards
Jockey – Emelio McLean
Has shown little of promise in her two career starts to suggest that hitting the board is a realistic possibility.
2 – WRAPPER GIRL
Bay filly (April 29) by Bern Identity out of Harry’s Train
Trainer – Jason DaCosta
Jockey – Tevin Foster
After finishing well off the pace behind winner Following Wave on debut on July 25, Wrapper Girl took a visible step forward on August 8 to secure fourth place, seven lengths behind For My Love. She has maintained a solid presence in morning exercise since, making her a live contender to improve further on her last placement.
3 – BEAUTIFUL ROSE
Chestnut filly (May 9) by Seeking My Dream out of Fantabulous
Trainer – Adrian Prince
Jockey – Omar Walker
Set a strong early pace before tiring over 6 ½ furlongs on August 29. Beautiful Rose will appreciate the cutback in distance to 5 furlongs straight, though she will need to show a bit more stamina late to capture the victory.
4 – STINA
Bay filly (April 26) by Hedge Fund out of Run Wid It
Trainer – Marlon Brown
Jockey – Tyrese Anderson
Offered glimpses of potential on her debut run and will need to build on that initial experience to feature prominently here.
5 – INDIAN GIRL
Bay filly (March 9) by Sensational Slam out of Kaka My Love
Trainer – Lydia Anglin
Jockey – Evertte Clunis
Morning clock-watchers report that this debuting filly has displayed encouraging signs in her exercise gallops and merits close monitoring.
6 – ALTAIR
Bay filly (January 23) by Hedge Fund out of Impetus
Trainer – Donovan Plummer
Jockey – Shaheem Gordon
Equipment Change – Blinkers and tongue tie on
Has failed to make an impact across her three career starts to date, leaving little to suggest a winning turn is imminent despite the addition of equipment.
7 – BEHAVE
Bay filly (April 28) by Conquest Cherimash out of Bedroom Chatter
Trainer – Barrington Bernard
Jockey – Richie Shakes
Has established a reliable record of consistency across nine starts, most recently finishing a solid third over this course and distance on August 22. That performance alone keeps her firmly in the mix, and her extensive race experience (nine starts) could well be the deciding factor.
8 – CIVIC ILLUSION
Bay filly (May 22) by Bern Identity out of Iamacitizen
Trainer – Patrick Lynch
Jockey – Dane Dawkins
Enters as the most seasoned campaigner in the lineup with ten starts under her belt. Put in an encouraging effort last time out over four furlongs, closing well to finish fourth by just 2 ½ lengths behind Sonador. As a proven performer over the straight, she holds a very strong claim.
