KINGSTON, Jamaica – To say that jockey Anthony Thomas is riding in the pink of form would be a gross understatement.
Thomas is now enjoying another purple patch in his career as he guided the Wayne DaCosta trained Silent Seeker to notch a natural hat-trick in the eighth race which was just completed at Caymanas Park.

Going off at odds of 8-1, Silent Seeker was kept behind the front runner Basilicus (Chris Mamdeen) in the five-furlong straight contest for three-year-olds going five furlongs straight.

Basilicus ruined his chances of winning when she darted from the middle of the track – pinning herself on the inside rails as K D Rocket (Robert Halledeen) started to get into the action.

Thomas moved Silent Seeker from the middle of the track to the outside rails and came with a storming finish to nip Basilicus in the glass with K D Rocket finishing third in what was a three horse bang-up finish.

The winning margins were a short head by a nose.

The five straight is very fast today as Silent Seeker recorded a winning time of 58.0 seconds.
