Anthony Thomas earns his second win on 7-1 chance Sir Kel in fast five straight clocking

KINGSTON, Jamaica – Jockey Anthony Thomas made in two winners in a row when he created a mild upset on Sir Kel in the seventh of 11 races on the Caymanas Park offering moments ago.

Sir Kel trained by Anthony Subratie started to kick in with a furlong left in the four-year-old and upwards restricted even coming down the five straight. Sir Kel won at odds of 7-1, which is the longest thus far on today’s card.

In full flight, Sir Kel easily dispatched of the then leaders Fearless Abi who eventually finished second and third by the post Unknown Soldier (Aaron Chatrie).

This was the second win for the season for trainer Subratie.

Sir Kel lashed splits of 22.2 x 44.2 to record a fast clocking of 57.2 for the distance.
