Patriarch (Casual Trick – Electrifying) provided his rider Dane Nelson and trainer Anthony Nunes with their second winner on the “Summit of Speed” race day at Caymanas Park. Surprisingly, Patriarch won at odds of 6-1.
At the off, Patriarch was well away as he took the lead but Nelson had to dig deep as Prince Charles came a calling in the final furlong but Patriarch had enough to hold on for the victory as the undisputed class horse in the race.
