KINGSTON, Jamaica – One Don at searing odds of 13-1 turned the Caymanas Saturday seventh upside down with a strong performance racing with the blinkers off and the visor on.

The US importee One Don ridden by Robert Halledeen won his second race on local soil – a imported three-year-olds and upwards (non-winners of three) and for local horses – three-year-olds and upwards non-winners of four run at 5 ½ furlongs.

Secret Identity (Oshane Nugent) set off in front at the off but was quickly pounced on by Hoist The Mast with One Don following and the 3-5 favourite Go Deh Girl (Dane Nelson) well behind.

Hoist The Mast (Dick Cardenas) held on to the lead but was now harassed by Halledeen and One Don.

In the stretch drive, Hoist The Mast and One Don engaged in battle with the latter proving the stronger by 1 ¼ lengths. Secret Identity who had traffic problems on the inside rails was second and Hoist The Mast third.

The winning time was 1:08.3.
