KINGSTON, Jamaica – Many times champion jockey Omar Walker had an armchair ride atop even money favourite Princess Kyra in the third race on the Sunday card of September 6 at Caymanas Park.

Walker, who for the entire distance of 5 ½ furlongs did not use his whip, sent Princess Kyra trained by Edward Stanberry in front in the restricted maiden contest for three-year-olds and was never challenged throughout winning by seven lengths.

Sniper Man (Dane Nelson) was second and Cup A Soup (Dick Cardenas) third.

Princess Kyra was trainer Stanberry’s fourth winner for the year.
