KINGSTON, Jamaica - The three-year-olds have the opportunity on Sunday (June 19) to further prove themselves for possible participation in the upcoming Jamaica St Leger (July 2) with the running of the Mr Lover Lover Trophy.
This three-year-old (non-winners of two) event over nine furlongs and 25 yards (1,820m) is split into two divisions.
Below is the analysis of the nine horses in Division 1.

UNRULY DUDE: (3 b c by Bern Identity – Wonder Girl) – Down the track in the recent 2000 Guineas at a mile (1,600m). Unruly Dude faces an easier assignment and is expected to produce a better performance but not a winning one.

PELICULA: (3 b f by Soul Warrior – Milestone) – Seventh in the 1000 Guineas, Pelicula, in this weaker field, could get closer with a place on the board the best on offer.

SUNSET SILHOUTTE: (3 b f by Northern Giant – Ahwhofah) – Finished fourth in the 1000 Guineas way behind winner Atomica. Sunset Silhoutte should run a better race in her designated class group, with the only consideration being whether or not she will be effective at the trip.

SIR TAJAY: (3 b c by Traditional – Lastochka) – Sir Tajay will not rattle any feathers.

SLAM: (3 b g by Sensational Slam – Bedroom Chatter) – This gelding has already won going long (8 ½ furlongs), which is a major asset against these, plus Slam has been rested and is returning fresh and ready for battle. Cannot be left out of consideration.

LION OF EKATI (USA): (3 dk b/br c by Tale of Ekati – Indian Conduct) – Lion of Ekati is still coming to grips with racing in a foreign land.

TOTAL PROSPERITY (USA): (3 b f by Danza – One Hot Romance) – Two outings to date with no semblance of form.

RORAIMA: (3 b c by Bern Identity – Classic Princess) – Since winning on January 29, Roraima’s form has dropped off. Roraima has been trying to catch the pace of non-two and after five attempts is ready for a breakout with the distance to his liking.
