KINGSTON, Jamaica – USA bred bay colt Eroy dismissed the local racers to take the seventh of nine races as the Saturday (August 15) programme at Caymanas Park nears its conclusion.

Eroy ridden by Omar Walker and trained by Richard Azan recorded his second win on local soil in a Restricted Stakes for three-year-olds going a mile.

When the starter let them go, it was Nipster (Robert Halledeen) who set off in front as Eroy, Green Gold Rush (Anthony Thomas) and Rum With Me (Dick Cardenas) were close by.

After three furlongs, Eroy took over and established a clear advantage entering the last two furlongs.

Try as Nipster may, he could not get by Eroy who hung tough to last home by a neck with Green Gold Rush another neck behind in third.
