KINGSTON, Jamaica – Kiah trained by Rowan Mathie and ridden by Anthony Thomas proved to be the upsetter thus far on today’s (August 15) nine race card at Caymanas Park.

Guided by a well-timed ride by Thomas, Kiah was successful in a Restricted Allowance IV event for four-year-olds and upwards – non-winners of two -  run over a mile at odds of 60-1.

It was Scoobert (Orlando Foster) who stretched out the field for most of the mile journey with Kiah way off the pace.

Scoobert entered the straight with a lead of over six lengths but weakened rapidly in the last furlong allowing Kiah to run by easily.

The lone winner of the Pick-4 collected just over $2 million.
