KINGSTON, Jamaica – In a searing stretch effort Action Run at odds of 10-1 came from behind instead of leading to earn a riveting victory in the eighth race at Caymanas Park.

Action Run ridden by Tevin Foster and trained by Gary Crawford won an Overnight Allowance call racing a distance of six furlongs.

Zephyr and Bold Aflair set the pace in the early stages before Harry’s Train took over.

During this time Shane Ellis on Sparkle Diamond (2-5) was moving smoothly on the inside rails after coming from the one draw. At this stage in the race, Action Run was trying to find a way through but was still well off the leaders.

In the home stretch, it was Sparkle Diamond who took over with Action Run getting into stride on the outside.

In a stirring duel involving the two foreigners it was Foster and Action Run by a head over Sparkle Diamond. Behind in third was Dunrobin.

Action Run who was racing in Overnight company for the first time was winning his third consecutive race.
