KINGSTON, Jamaica – It was smooth going for the Jason DaCosta trained Anthony Thomas ridden Elitist in the Caymanas Saturday sixth.

Elitist won a four-year-old and upwards (non-winners of three) call at six furlongs.

A packed house of 15 starters were sent on their way by the starter with foreigner Chitu Prince (Richard Henry) taking the lead as Elitist stalked in second and with Adore Brilliance (Jerome Innis) coming from the 15 draw to join the leaders.

After leaving the half-mile marker, Chitu Prince increased his lead as Thomas continued to hold Elitist.

In the lane for the last two furlongs, Thomas, on the outside, let Elitist loose and the two came home as easy winners by almost two lengths.

Ajita (Jordan Barrett) ran on for second with Chitu Prince third.
