KINGSTON, Jamaica – Jockey Dane Nelson once again proved why he is the leading rider at Caymanas Park at this time.

Riding the Anthony Nunes trained Big Bang in a four-year-old and upwards non-winners of four contest travelling a mile, Nelson watched at the back of the field for the majority distance of the contest.

Roy Rogers (Raddesh Roman) set the tempo as was expected with Rohan Kabir trying to upset the rhythm of the leader.

Roy Rogers slipped away leaving the four-furlong marker and entered the straight as the leader.

Big Bang and Coco Chanel (Coco Chanel), both still a way behind, started to pull forward at this stage and with Nelson positioned low in the saddle and pushing hard in typical "Warrior Chief" fashion, Big Bang got his hoofs in front holding off the late burst of Coco Chanel. Roy Rogers held for third.

The winning time was 1:38.2.

Surprisingly Big Bang won at odds of 4-1.
