KINGSTON, Jamaica – Trainer Ryan Darby made it two wins on the day thus far when Mr Pantheon under a well-timed ride from a rejuvenated Tevin Foster won the fourth race of 10 on the Jamaica Oaks card (August 29) at Caymanas Park.

Racing at odds of 10-1, in an Optional Claimer ($450,000 - $400,000) run over 6 1/2 furlongs, Mr Pantheon was not part of the early scramble as recent winner Radical (Omar Walker) went to the front with some niggling by Dioso de Oro (Roger Hewitt).

Walker and Radical then established a comfortable lead on rivals as Mr Pantheon, racing on the rails was still way behind.

Radical was the undisputed leader when they turned for home and looked all over the winner with a half-a-furlong left in the contest.

Then Foster who has a knack of coming late for his victories got Mr Pantheon rolling at top flight and the six-year-old gelding produced a telling burst to nab Radical on the wire.

Third went 6-5 favourite Yet Again.

Mr Pantheon was Darby's second winner on the day thus far.
