KINGSTON, Jamaica – Long-time conditioner Phillip Elliot is enjoying one of his best days at the track when he closed a working double with Laws of the Code in the sixth of 11 races on the Caymanas Park Saturday card of September 12, 2020.
Ridden by apprentice Oshane Nugent, Laws of the Code was clear from early in the Optional Claimer ($180,000 - $150,000) competed for over 5 ½ furlongs.
It was a procession in the straight, as Laws of the Code went further and further away from rivals
Elliott won the previous race with Musketoon ridden by apprentice Tevin Foster.
Second ten lengths behind Laws of the Code was General Mubaraak (Jordan Barrett) while Cat’s Rigger (Jerome Innis) was third.
