KINGSTON, Jamaica – Den Street’s path to victory did not have any potholes as the two-year-old bay colt by Northern Ridge – All for Pleasure racing for the first time was a runaway winner of the third race at Caymanas Park.

That event was a Maiden Special Weight offering for two-year-olds at 5 1/2 furlongs.

When the starter let the seven participants go, it was Letters in Gold (Chris Mamdeen) who surged to the front followed quickly by Den Street trained by Wayne DaCosta with Phillip Parchment in the saddle.

Thereafter the result was written on the wall, as Den Street skittered away for a seven length victory.

Bern Notice (Dane Nelson) came from way behind to earn second with Letters in Gold third.

The winning time was 1:07.0.

This was the second winner from three races for DaCosta.
