KINGSTON, Jamaica - The Chairman’s Trophy - a Graded Stakes event for three-year-olds and up over 7 ½ furlongs is the battlefield chosen by trainer Wayne DaCosta as the first encounter by his talented filly She’s A Maneater in 2019.
Slated as tomorrow’s sixth race, She’s A Maneater now a five-year-old mare, as expected, totes top weight and is allowing lumps of weight to her four other rivals in this trophy race.
Right now, She’s A Maneater is well rested and is fighting fit and is not going to be easily denied over a trip that she will relish every inch of.
This champion mare has most to fear from a rejuvenated and ever tough and resilient Superluminal and possibly the sprint champion of 2018, Chace The Great.
