Gracefully Made
Gracefully Made
KINGSTON, Jamaica – Ten three-year-old fillies face each other in the seventh race of ten on the Sunday (June 26) card at Caymanas Park.
Below is THE QUICK GALLOPER’S assessment of the 10 runners in this seven-furlong call.
1 - GRACEFULLY MADE is a bay filly (April 19) by Blue Pepsi Lodge out of Peace By Peace trained by Alford Brown with Dick Cardenas in the saddle. Gracefully Made based on her two runs to date, gives the distinct impression that she is an out-and-out sprinter with seven furlongs beyond her reach. Note, Gracefully Made races with the blinkers off and the cheek pieces on.
2 – WOWTASTIC is a bay filly (February 20) by Perfect Curlin out of Sarah Barracuda trained by Anthony Nunes with Tevin Foster in the saddle. Did enough on her recent debut to earn strong attention. Wowtastic, was, however, weakening in that June 4 run but has stepped up at exercise and with the experience in her hoofs, she will be a factor at the winning post.
3 – LOVE DUB is a bay filly (April 15) by Sensational Slam out of Iamallaboutthebest trained by Gary Subratie with Dane Dawkins in the saddle. This filly has been improving steadily with a noticeable tendency of running on in her two starts to date. With the distance increased, Love Dub will be there when it matters most.
4 – FYFFES PEN LIZ is a grey filly (January 28) by Midnight Hawk out of Sexy Moon trained by Ryan Darby with Omar Walker in the saddle. This filly finished fourth on June 19 going 6 ½ furlongs, weakening in the final furlong. Now at seven furlongs, her mettle will be tested.  Note, Fyffes Pen Liz races with the tongue tie on.
5 – MINIDEWAK is a bay filly (February 21) by Lion Tamer out of Aura Mas trained by Anthony Nunes with Linton Steadman in the saddle. Has been around for a while without much to show.
6 – ZION’S PRINCESS is a bay filly (April 25) by Midnight Hawk out of Look At Me Now trained by Michael Beecham with Ruja Lahoe in the saddle. Zion’s Princess is coming along at exercise after her second-place run on June 4. On that day, Zion’s Princess was running on thereby giving the impression that she would prefer to go longer.
7 – MISS CALEESI is a grey filly (April 14) by Midnight Hawk out of Auntie Rhoda trained by Delroy Wisdom with Marshall Porter in the saddle. Still needs time.
8 – NOA LI is a bay filly (April 10) by Forest Danger out of Celine trained by Anthony Nunes with Shane Ellis in the saddle. Learning her trade.
9 – TRUE RYLIE is a bay filly (May 6) by Savoy Stomp out of Go Flint Go trained by Alford Brown with Roger Hewitt in the saddle. Note, True Rylie races with the blinkers on and first-time Lasix.
10 – ANOTHER WAVE is a bay filly (February 27) by Savoy Stomp out of High Cube trained by Tyrone Prince with Javaniel Patterson in the saddle. Should be competitive.
