KINGSTON, Jamaica – With only one favourite, Contractor at 1-2 in the third race obliging, it was little wonder that the popular exotic bet the Sunrise -6 was not caught. Instead the Sunrise-6 has a nice carryover of $1,542,110.70 going into the Saturday race meeting of December 21.
The sixth race which concluded the Sunrise-6 was won by Smooth Criminal ridden by Hakeem Pottinger for trainer Roy Matthews at odds of 11-1.
