KINGSTON, Jamaica – The long-established rule of thumb at Caymanas Park of staying with the horses drawn on the outside in five straight encounters, proved itself once again today (June 25).
The three races were run over the five straight were all won by horses drawn on the outside.
The first of the three was the fifth won by Gilbert (Everton Miller) drawn at eight in a field of eight. Second, in the same event was Perfect Brew from gate 7. The eight, seven, and six finish was broken by third-placed Buzz City Light drawn at one. Horse number six, KP Choice finished fourth.
Th second of the five-straight races was the tenth. This contest brought conclusive proof of the Caymanas five-straight rule of thumb. Ten horses were entered with the results being: first – Awesome Rich (#10); second – Nomoredeals (#9); third – Rupunzel (#8), and fourth – She’s Fantastic (#7).
The third of the five straight was the eleventh. Sixteen horses were entered with two late non-starters. The result: first – Quiet Boss (#13); second – Cataba (#16); third – Heart of the Sea (#9), and fourth – Oldkingcole (#14).
The advice based on these results from THE QUICK GALLOPER is to choose horses on the outside in five straight races.
