Secret Identity wins impressively first time out in Caymanas Sunday fifth

KINGSTON, Jamaica – Racing behind the leaders for most of the trip, Secret Identity a bay filly by Bern Identity – Pomeroy’s Secret making her first appearance in a competitive event went on to win the Caymanas Sunday fifth in impressive fashion.

Trained by Tensang Chung, Secret Identity, raced in fifth place as the jockey on board Linton Steadman bided his time on the well touted newcomer.

In moving to get into a challenging position, Secret Identity went wide but quickly gained momentum to motor by all rivals to win by a commanding five lengths after being eased down in the final part of the contest.

Jahsendblessings (Roger Hewitt) was second while Amy The Butcher (Trevor Simpson) filled the third slot.
