KINGSTON, Jamaica – It wasn’t much of a race in the Caymanas Saturday seventh as the odds-on 2-5 favourite Zabratone turned the contest into a 11-length winning processing.

Zabratone’s win was furnished in a four-year-old and upwards (non-winners of two) race going a mile.

Jockey Youville Pinnock on Zabratone watched as Sniper Man (Shane Ellis) and Dorthebutcher (Matthew Bennett) vied for supremacy on the front end.

Dorthebutcher dropped out of the reckoning after three and a half furlongs were completed as Zabratone came down to be alongside Sniper Man. The latter increased the tempo with young Pinnock wisely deciding not to follow at that time.

However, in the closing part of the final bend Pinnock made his move on Zabratone and thereafter it was not a race.

Toughness at 59-1 with Dane Dawkins aboard finished second with Daytona Belle (Anthony Thomas) third.
