KINGSTON, Jamaica – It was her class and the determination to win and not chance or luck which made Three Times Lucky the winner of the Caymanas Saturday eighth.

Racing in a three-year-old (non-winners of two) event at 7 furlongs with Jerome Innis in the saddle for trainer Jason DaCosta, Three Times Lucky pushed from the outside to lead soon after the starter pressed his button. True Fake (Robert Halledeen) drew up to challenge shortly after but Innis pushed Three Times Lucky to establish a clear lead, then using his experience Innis gave his mount a breather in the furlong just before entering the straight.

In the straight, Three Times Lucky moved away to score by four lengths over stablemate Iannai Links (Dick Cardenas) with Buff Bay (Paul Francis) third.
