KINGSTON, Jamaica – Former Triple Crown winner Monday Morning is being honoured on Monday, May 22, 2023, with the feature race (seven furlongs).

Thirteen three-year-olds at the non-winners of two level are entered to do battle.

The Quick Galloper has analyzed the 13 entrants, with the result provided below.

1 – ANONYMOUS is a bay colt (April 15) by Lion Tamer out of Eighteen Karat, trained by Anthony Nunes with Tevin Foster in the saddle. Note, Anonymous races with the figure 8 on. Back in the grade where he has a possibility of being successful having faltered in The Kingston. Anonymous will find seven furlongs to his liking, he can be a factor on Monday.

2 - SENSATIONAL MOVE is a chestnut colt (April 11) by Sensational Slam out Money Move, trained by Gary Subratie with Omar Walker aboard. Impressive on debut (May 7), then finished third in The Kingston, 17 lengths behind winner Mojito. Sensational Move has progressed well in the mornings, raising the livelihood of being successful.

NATURAL DANCER is a bay filly (March 15) by Natural Selection out Goldstardancer, trained by Robert Pearson with Jordan Barrett aboard.

4 – PRINCESS SHARON is a bay filly (February 15) by Soul Warrior out of Princess Shine, trained by Fitzroy Glispie with Anthony Thomas aboard. Note, Princess Sharon races with the visor off, and the tongue tie on. Did well on debut, but fluked out in The Portmore, Princess Sharon reverts to her class, where she will be better suited.

5 – BOASEY is a bay filly (May 17) by Casual Trick out of The Golden One, trained by Gary Griffiths with Oneil Mullings aboard. Slowly getting acclimatized to the surroundings at the non-two level.

6 – SHE’S MYHEDGEFUND is a chestnut filly (March 3) by Hedge Fund out of Thisgirlisonfire, trained by Jason DaCosta with Roger Hewitt in the saddle. Has not chance whatsoever.

7 – ACKNOWLEDGEME is a bay filly (March 26) by Key To Power out of Gentle Officer, trained by Michael Thomas with Youville Pinnock in the saddle. Note, Acknowledgeme races with the visor off. Always among the early pacesetters in her races to date, and then usually backs out of the reckoning. No change is expected.

8 – WAYNE’S PRINCESS is a bay filly (May 19) by Northern Giant out of Patara, trained by Jason DaCosta with Reyan Lewis. Comes to this group for the first time, and needs time.

9 – FROM SHEER TO BEN is a bay colt (April 8) by Here Comes Ben out of Sheer Madness, trained by Alford Brown with Javaniel Patterson aboard. Note, From Sheer To Win races with first time Lasix. A winner on debut, who will learn in this his first run in non-two.

10 – SAVVY GIRL is a bay filly (April 9) by Savoy Stomp out of Runallday, trained by Anthony Nunes with Matthew Bennett aboard. Has made two starts in this grade, gaining a foundation, for what is expected to be a grand effort on Monday.

11 – MODERN MIRACLE is a chestnut colt (January 2) by Hedge Fund out of Sound of Miracle, trained by Anthony Nunes with Paul Francis aboard. Cannot manage these right now.

12 – WHIZZ KIDD is a bay colt (April 19) by Northern Giant out of Makeyn Joy, trained by Jason DaCosta, with Phillip Parchment aboard. Not ready as yet to deal with more accomplished runners.

13 – ALL FOR LOVE is a chestnut filly (February 1) by Nuclear Wayne out of Princess Sallema, trained by Gary Subratie with Dane Dawkins aboard. A disappointment to date, All For Love can mend her ways but will have to put every hoof right.
