KINGSTON, Jamaica – After bolting in what was to be his second outing, Prince Marshall (Youville Pinnock) made amends a short while with a good win in the Caymanas Tuesday eighth.
The early pace was set as expected by Oldkingcole (Dane Nelson) followed by 33-1 outsider Ianzha Links (Matthew Bennett) with Prince Marshall lurking in the third spot.
The trio entered the straight in the same order but Prince Marshall, a three-year-old chestnut colt by War Marshall - Princess Shine trained by Fitzroy Glispie got a clear run on the inside rails and when asked to quicken, he did so to win by five lengths. Second was Ianzha Links with Oldkingcole finishing third.
Prince Marshall provided Pinnock with his second winner on the day.
