UPDATE ON JOCKEYS AFTER FALL

KINGSTON, Jamaica - One of the three jockeys who fell in the sixth race Tevin Foster has been sent to hospital.

The official announcement made by the track announcer said that Foster was sent to the hospital for observation. Foster had returned about two months ago from another injury which kept him away from competitive riding for a long while.

Of the other two jockeys who fell, Anthony Thomas and Shane Ellis, the former is said to have some cut and bruises but is ok, while Ellis is said to be fine.

Thomas will not complete his riding assignments for the rest of the day.
