KINGSTON, Jamaica – In a scintillating show of speed Duke put it across rivals coming down the five straight in the Caymanas Tuesday tenth.

Ridden by Dane Nelson and trained by Gary Subratie, Duke raced behind Capturemyship (Trevor Simpson) and the lone foreigner in the field, Solid Approach (Omar Walker).

With about a furlong and a half left in the contest, Nelson tried to go between the two leaders but no room could be found.

He then had to go on the inside and that was when Duke opened up on rivals pulling away to win by two lengths.

Capturemyship docked in second with Solid Approach third.

With the track slow over the last four race days, the final time of 58.2 by Duke was noticeable.

Nelson was riding his second winner on the day.
