KINGSTON, Jamaica – After combining for two wins on the last race day |Sat, Oct 9, 2021| ,the pair of trainer Patrick Lynch and jockey Dick Cardenas continued where they left off by winning the Caymanas Saturday |Oct 16, 2021 | first.

That event was a maiden condition call for three-year-old horses travelling four furlongs.

With the Reggae 6 – exotic wager selling over $8 million, Cardenas broke Cataba (Lion Tamer – Tooting Cat) with the leaders when the starter pressed his button.

After Cataba went by the dummy rails, she increased the tempo running away from rivals to win handily by over five lengths.

Carol Strike (Raddesh Roman), the odds on 3-5 favourite finished second with Lady Pujarie (Richard Henry) filling the third slot.
