KINGSTON, Jamaica – In his usual tough and rumbling style on the inside rails, journeyman jockey Aaron Chatrie was able to keep the Gary Subratie trained Cherokee Way going just enough to thwart the late burst of Bindaredundat in a Restricted Allowance non-winners of two for four-year-olds and up going seven furlongs.
Cherokee Way won the seventh of 11 races on the Saturday card currently underway at Caymanas Park.
Cherokee Way in the end got home by a neck, from Bindaredundat with Smarty Tradition way behind in the third slot.
The winning time was 1:29.1.
