KINGSTON, Jamaica – After four rides at the Thistledown racetrack in Ohio, USA, jockey Robert Halledeen is still without a win.
Halledeen began his Thistledown foray last Thursday (June 30) by finishing second by a short head on his first mount.
Today (Monday, June 4), the man known in local racing circles as ‘Hardball’, had three rides. In the day’s first race, Halledeen finished fourth aboard Check Six for trainer Alejandro Murillo Rodriquez.
In the Thistle Down fourth, Halledeen earned third place atop 10-1 chance Venetian Dream trained by Ricardo Bailey.
On his third ride, 6-1 chance Lazarus Project, also trained by Bailey, Halledeen finished third.
