QUICK GALLOP 10 JULY

KINGSTON, Jamaica – The scheduled holiday race day set for National Heroes Day, Monday, October 19, has been postponed and will now be on Friday, October 23 instead.

The change of dates has been occasioned by the new curfew hours mandated by the Government because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

On Heroes Day the daily curfew starts at 3:00 pm making it impossible to hold a race card.

Based on this curfew restriction there will now be back to back race meets on Friday (Oct 23) and Saturday, October 24.

Entry time for the designated Friday race day is Tuesday, October 20, with the Overnight coming out on the same day.

While entries will be taken by the Racing Office for the Saturday (Oct 24) card on Wednesday, October 21, with the Overnight being published on the same day.
