Jockey Dane Nelson was able to bring home two winners over last weekend (Fri, Oct 30 – Sun, Nov 1, 2026) at the Woodbine racetrack in Canada.
In race four on Friday, October 30, Nelson piloted #7 No Cape to victory for trainer, Steven Chirxop.
The post-race report reads as follows: “No Cape Trainer Steven Chircop NO CAPE was bumped at the start but quickly made the lead and dictated terms in the clear setting a leisurely pace from off the rail, was asked in upper stretch, responded and held sway despite drifting a bit.”
On Sunday, November 1, Nelson guided #4 Bee Me to success for trainer Krista Cole.
The post-race report reads as follows: “BEE ME travelled three deep in midfield along the back straightaway, cruise around runners three wide easily gaining control up front by the quarter marker, drifted out the five path well in command turning for home but had to be kept busy in the final furlong with the determined runner up inside fighting to the very end and prevailed for the win in deep stretch.”.
