KINGSTON, Jamaica – Moneyman a grey colt by Bern Notice – Silver Shadows emerged from the woodwork to score a fine victory at odds of 5-1 in the ninth of nine races on the Caymanas Saturday card.

Seven Stars (Trevor Simpson) shot the front on the outside as jockey Reyan Lewis kept the David Lee Chin trained Moneyman travelling the shortest trip on the inside rails.

Seven Stars continued to lead down the backstretch but was taken on by Oldkingcole (Dane Nelson) with about five furlongs left in the contest.

Oldkingcole and then Moneyman were locked together making the final turn but in the straight the latter found much more in his hoofs and skittered away to win by 2 ½ lengths.

Sir John ran on well to get second as Heavenly Glitter did the same for third.
