Miss Hillington gets Sunday racing (Sept 6 ) underway at 6-1

MISS HILLINGTON MCGREGOR KIAMAN AUG 6 2020 (3)

KINGSTON, Jamaica – The 10-race Sunday (September 6) card at Caymanas Park got off to an uneven start when Miss Hillington just got home at odds of 6-1.

Miss Hillington benefited from a well-timed ride by apprentice Kiaman McGregor.

At the off in the three-year-old maiden contest travelling 5 ½ furlongs, it was Triple Seven (Dick Cardenas) and Primal Fear (Tevin Foster) who vied for the lead advantage.

At this stage, McGregor kept Miss Hillington in mid-pack.

Primal Fear got the better of Triple Seven when the horses entered the straight. Then with 1 ½ furlongs to go McGregor asked Miss Hillington who was still two to three lengths behind the leader, and the bay filly trained by Steven Todd responded to scrape through by a neck over Primal Fear.

Third was Triple Seven.
