KINGSTON, Jamaica – The outstanding form of apprentice Christopher Mamdeen continues, as the young man just brought home the winner of the first race, Let It Snow on the 1000 Guineas Race Day at Caymanas Park.
For Mamdeen, it was his seventh winner over the last three race days, four and two respectively.
The win by Let It Snow provided veteran trainer Randoph Scott with his first winner for the year.
It was easy for Mamdeen as Let It Snow broke well from the seven draw and simply powered away in the Restricted Allowance five-year-old and up – non-winners of two event run over 51/2 furlongs.
Second way behind was Instagram with third going to Lion of Judah.
The winning time recorded for the distance was 1:09.3.
