KINGSTON, Jamaica - The three-year-old maiden offering on Saturday, September 13, 2025, has divided into two divisions, each with nine entries.

Division 1 is the first race on the day’s card, when the nine participants will lock horns going the sprint distance of 5½ furlongs. The Quick Galloper’s take on the possible outcome is shared with readers in draw order.

1 – MONEY MISSION - This bay filly (January 22) by Casual Trick out of Daisy Duke has yet to show signs of competitiveness. In her most recent effort, she lost ground in the final stages of a five-furlong straight call. The addition of the figure eight is unlikely to change her fortunes.

2 – PRINCE OGILVEY - This bay colt (August 25) by Storm Craft out of D’Angel returns with blinkers, tongue tie, and figure eight added. He has raced four times, placing once. That single placing may be enough to make an impact in this field.

3 – MODERN MONARCH - A bay colt (January 30) by Casual Trick out of Revolving Beauty. With twelve starts under his belt, he has shown enough consistency to suggest a win is within reach. Races with visor on.

4 – CHASING MY DREAM - Chestnut colt (March 17) by Seeking My Dream out of Full Throttle. Ran six days ago but finished well behind. Even in this company, improvement is not expected.

5 – THE MANIPULATOR - Chestnut colt (April 23) by Successful Native out of Quora. Has failed to hit the board in five starts. Wears tongue tie. No signs of progress.

6 – SPARKLING FIRE - Bay filly (April 16) by Bold Conquest out of Awesome Camille. Ten starts with one third-place finish on July 26. That effort gives her a chance in this line-up.

7 – D’STORM - Bay filly (February 3) by Wannabeaplayer out of Storming Flyer. Finished third six days ago, beating Chasing My Dream by over six lengths. That performance makes her a strong contender.

8 – LIFE IS LIGHT - Chestnut filly (February 10) by Hedge Fund out of Necromancer. Seven starts with recent fifth and third-place finishes. Those runs stand out among this group.

9 – RUNAWAY BAY - Bay colt (May 24) by Patton Proud out of Niseel. Despite wearing blinkers and tongue tie, his form does not warrant consideration.

THE QUICK GALLOPER’S FINAL VERDICT

Recent form is the key indicator in this division. D’Storm is preferred based on her third-place finish and margin over rivals. Life Is Light and Modern Monarch are the next best, with Sparkling Fire holding an outside chance.
