KINGSTON, Jamaica - The developing duo of trainer Gary Subratie and jockey Dane Dawkins scored their first win of the new 2020 season when K D Flyer won coming down the five straight course.

In a race in which two jockeys Oshane Nugent and Anthony Thomas fell from their mounts, it was the 7-5 chance Adonis (Phillip Parchment) went into the lead but was interfered with by one of the loose horses forcing his rider to scamper from the outside draw to the inside rails.

K D Flyer did not enjoy a good trip either but in the end he had enough to get up and beat Adonis by a short head.

Third went to Adoring Lady – Christopher Mamdeen – at odds of 24-1.
