KINGSTON, Jamaica – Many punters at the track today (Saturday, December 3, 2022), are making use of fixed odds betting facility provided by the promoting company (SVREL) and the Australia based BetMakers outfit for the first time in Jamaica’s racing history.
“Thus far, the betting has been crisp, with many punters warming to the attractive fixed odds we are offering on win and place bets. The real education process of fixed odds betting in Jamaica has started,” a BetMakers’ spokesman told Quickgallop.com.
The winner of the first race Colorado Ranger closed with a fixed odds of 7-1, compared to the tote odds of 40-1.
The winner of the second event Ring Charmer closed with a fixed odds of 7-1, with the odds on the tote being 5-1.
