KINGSTON, Jamaica – Former six-time champion jockey Omar Walker just landed his second winner on the 10-race Friday “Sprint Fest” card at Caymanas Park.
Riding for trainer Gresford Smith aboard Miss In Kiss, as the 4-5 odds on favourite weaved his way through the pact after a slow start as Contractor – Omar Walker – 2-1) shot to the lead in the five-furlong round contest for four-year-old non-winners of three races.
Contractor and Miss In Kiss entered the straight locked in battle with the latter powering away for a three-length victory. Nuclear Thunder (Phillip Parchment – 3-1) finished third.
This was the second winner on the day for Walker who had earlier piloted Sir Alton to victory in the second race.
The winning time was 59.4.
