KINGSTON, Jamaica – The odd-makers at Quickgallop.com did not have to spend time in determining the favourite for the Bruceontheloose Sprint Trophy scheduled to be contested on the Mouttet Mile Race Day of Saturday, December 2, 2023.
After four consecutive victories, Desert of Malibu trained by Gary Subratie has been made the 2-5 odds-on favourite to win the first running of the Bruceontheloose.
The odds-makers have taken notice of the decision of the connections of I’ve Got Magic to go in the Bruceontheloose instead of the Mouttet Mile. As a result, I’ve Got Magic is fitted into the second favourite slot at odds of 3-1.
The odds-makers are of the view that it is anything goes for the rest of the field. The recent form of Madelyn’s Sunshine and Luksol have been taken into consideration, yet the odds-makers believe 6 ½ furlongs will be too long for both of these known sprinters.
