KINGSTON, Jamaica - Under a powerhouse ride from co-champion jockey Dane Nelson, Cartel came running on at full tilt to bring down long-time leader Baltusrol (Linton Steadman) in the Caymanas Sunday second.

The first two furlongs turned out to be a tussle involving three horses Pakman, Stanislaus and Baltusrol.

Navigating the half mile turn Baltusrol took over and came into the straight in front and looking good.

By this time Nelson had made a sharp move rounding the final bend on Cartel and now started to charge on the outside of Baltusrol.

In the stretch, the power of Nelson prevailed on Cartel for trainer Johnny Wilmot.

Baltusrol was second and Stanilaus third.
