KINGSTON, Jamaica – Jockey Jerome Innis used a chance ride on Congrats Suckie to flash by the winning post in front of General Mubaraak (Anthony Thomas) and Sly Stalloon (Jawara Steadman) in the Caymanas Wednesday sixth.

But after a stewards’ inquiry the colours of Congrats Suckie were lowered and the race awarded to General Mubaraak. The changed result allowed trainer Steven Todd to land a triple and a double for Thomas.

The replay of the race showed Congrats Suckie bearing down on Stormy Lady soon after they left the gates which eventually led to the fall of jockey Aaron Chatrie. The official announcement stated that Congrats Suckie was disqualified for causing interference and intimidation to Stormy Lady. Chatrie was taken down on the rest of his mounts on the day.

Second after the disqualification was Sly Stalloon (Jawara Steadman) with Lady Budget (Roger Hewitt) third.
