KINGSTON, Jamaica – K J Express went by rivals just before entering the final two furlongs in a five round Restricted Allowance 111 contest for four -year-olds and upwards non-winners of four to give leading rider Christopher Mamdeen and leading trainer Anthony Nunes their first win on today’s 10-race card at Caymanas Park.
It was a no contest after K J Express running at odds of 6-5 took over as he was not for catching on the day winning by 1 ¼ lengths.
Second was Harry’s Train (Omar Walker – 6-5) with third going to Azaria (Paul Francis – 5-1).
The winning time for five furlongs was 59.4.
