KINGSTON, Jamaica – After giving problems to enter her starting stall, Rocket Lily left her draw position with fuel injection speed to win the Caymanas Wednesday eighth.
Rocket Lily trained by Christopher “Superman” Pearson with Omar Walker in the saddle blasted away the maiden tag in a three-year-old (fillies’ only) call coming down the five-straight course.
Diamond In the Sky (Chris Mamdeen) was second and Whispering Magic (Youville Pinnock) third.
Pearson was winning his third race in 2021.
