KINGSTON, Jamaica – Showing toughness developed from her previous eight starts, the most of any in this race, Amy The Butcher got the job done in the Caymanas Saturday eighth at odds of 13-1, the longest on the day thus far.

Amy The Butcher with apprentice Jordan Barrett in the irons shot to the front shortly after leaving her starting stall. Thereafter, Amy The Butcher (Deputy Glitters – Asia’s Dream) had to dig deep in her resources to hold off the pack led by second by the post Khai Alexis (Omar Walker) and Heavenly Glitter who finished third.

This was the second winner on the day for Barrett whose tally for the year now stands at three.
