KINGSTON, Jamaica – The recent good form of long-time jockey Devon A Thomas and trainer Errol Subratie continued when Chrisanli took the Caymanas Tuesday second over a fighting Mr Lyndhurst (Shane Richardson).
When the 14 horses were let loose by the starter, Thomas sent Chrisanli to the lead which they never relinquished although the game Mr Lyndhurst kept close to their shoulders proving hard to get rid of even in the last furlong.
When the winning post arrived, it was Chrisanli by just three-parts-of-a-length over Mr Lyndhurst with Pure Heart (Robert Halledeen) third.
