KINGSTON, Jamaica – A full field of 16 will enter the starting gates coming down the five straight chute, in a three-year-old maiden call for fillies.
This is the 10th and final race on the card of Saturday, April 22, 2023, at Caymanas Park.

1 – LITTLE MISS NISHA is a chestnut (April 19) by Traditional out of Simply Classic trained by Winston Morris with Jerome Innis aboard. Newcomer searching for the experience.
2 – XYLOPHONIC STEEL is a bay (March 24) by Bern Identity out of Kiri trained by Steven Todd with Shavon Townsend holding the reins. Note, Xylophonic Steel races with first-time Lasix. Has faced the starter once without any semblance of form. That trend will continue on Saturday.
3 – POWEROFHERHIGHNESS is a bay (May 28) by Key To Power out of Herroyalhighness trained by Dennis Pryce with Javaniel Patterson aboard. Coming to come, has a good chance of earning.
4 – ATOMIC ENERGY is a chestnut (February 5) trained by Gary Subratie with Omar Walker in the saddle. . Note, Atomic Energy races with the tongue tie on. After four attempts, Atomic Energy is still trying to find her way.
5 – SHE’S A MIRAGE is a bay (March 29) by Casual Trick out of Full Moon’s Enough trained by Jason DaCosta with Daniel Thompson aboard. This filly was declared a late non-starter (sick) when nominated to run on April 10. Returns after a rest period of 14 days, for another attempt at getting off the mark, yet cannot be backed with any confidence.
6 – AVA’S SUNSHINE is a bay (May 17) Emperor Hall out of Toot The Blues trained by Norman Smith with Ramon Nepare aboard. Still learning.
7 – LADY RAMDULARIE is a chestnut (May 5) by Midnight Hawk out of Lady Najariya trained by Howard Jaghai with Shane Richardson in the saddle. Morning watchers are reporting that this first-time starter is of some worth based on her gallops to date. Many say she will have an impact in this one.
8 – BELLA SOUL is a bay (January 19) by Soul Warrior out of Lady Belridge trained by Gary Subratie with Raddesh Roman aboard. Has race twice, getting closer on the second attempt. Bella Soul is poised for an improved run and should be given an even chance of success.
9 – CRUCIAL ALEXXYA is a grey (March 8) by Admiral Alex out of Crucial Cat trained by Carl Anderson with Romario Spencer aboard. Note, Crucial Alexxya races with the visor off. In her eight starts to date, this filly has shown nothing to recommend a winning run.
10 – LAMBO GIRL is a chestnut (April 12) by Admiral Alex out of Absolute Justice trained by Wilfred Chin with Sadiki Blake in the saddle. Note, Lambo Girl races with the visor off. Lambo Girl is a regular on race days having 10 career starts to date. Word out is that Lambo Girl has been showing up in the mornings, and an improved run is anticipated.
11 – ANSWER MY PRAYERS is a bay (May 24) by Casual Trick out of Great Faith trained by Gary Subratie with Dane Dawkins aboard. This filly is getting closer and closer to letting loose of the maiden tag. Answer My Prayers last raced 14 days ago, over the same distance as this race, when finishing third behind the impressive Electrode. Answer My Prayers has all the credentials for a winning attempt.
12 – NOISY LADY is a bay (May 10) by Savoy Stomp out of Raise Your Voice trained by Keffin Murray with Ameth Robles aboard. Note, Noisy Lady races with the visor off and first-time Lasix. Needs more time.
13 – EMPRESSINTHEBREEZE is a chestnut (March 18) trained by Edward Stanberry with Paul Francis aboard. Learning slowly after two starts.
14 – CASUAL TREASURE is a bay (April 10) by Casual Trick out of Peace By Peace trained by Renex Burrell with Aaron Chatrie aboard. Another first-timer, who will learn and gather experience.
15 – CITY HAWK is a bay (February 28) by Midnight Hawk out of Magic City trained by Anthony Nunes with Tevin Foster in the saddle. Still has a long way to go.
16 – DIGITAL LIGHT is a bay (January 14) by Wannabeaplayer out of Morning Grace trained by Gary Griffiths with Oshane Nugent. Has been consistent in the majority of her eight starts. By virtue of being drawn on the outside of this straight event, Digital Light cannot be ruled out of favourable consideration.
