KINGSTON, Jamaica – There are two races for three-year-old maiden horses over the five straight chute on Sunday, October 30, 2022 at Caymanas Park.
The first is the fifth event, with 10 horses declared to start.
THE QUICK GALLOPER’S preview is provided below.
1 – RISKY BID is a bay filly (January 19) by Blue Pepsi Lodge out of Zensational trained by Ray Phillips with Shane Ellis in the saddle. Note, Risky Bid races with the tongue tie off, and the figure eight on. Has been coming along but the one draw will not help her cause.
2 – SARGE IN CHARGE is a bay gelding (March 21) by Nasheet out of Aunt Hilda trained by Phillip Lee with Andre Powell in the saddle. Still not ready.
3 – KING AIR is a chestnut colt (March 14) by Midnight Hawk out of Mameta trained by Michael Thomas with Omar Walker aboard. Note, King Air races with the cheekpieces off. Way behind his cohort at this stage in his career.
4 – NOA LI is a bay filly (April 10) by Forest Danger out of Celine trained by Anthony Nunes with Dick Cardenas aboard. Note, Noa Li races with the visor off and the blinkers on. Well-seasoned campaigner who gets the perfect opportunity to get off the mark. It seems to be now or never for Noa Li.
5 – RANI BANGALA is a bay filly (February 26) by Savoy Stomp out of Palace Gold trained by Robert Pearson with Reyan Lewis aboard. Track reports are that Rani Bangala is of worth but is not ready yet.
6 – NORTH LONDON is a bay filly (May 8) by Savoy Stomp out of Right Marker trained by Ryan Darby with Matthew Bennett. Note, North London races with the visor on. North London has disappointed in recent times. The hope is that the visor can make a difference.
7 – CAVE MAN is a bay gelding (March 12) by Dayton Flyer out of Burning Brightly trained by Derrick Roman with Phillip Parchment aboard. Note, Cave Man races with the blinkers off. Can be left out of any serious contention.
8 – HEROINE is a chestnut filly (April 29) by Soul Warrior out of Rock ‘A’ Way trained by Philip Feanny with Bebeto Harvey in the saddle. The clockers are reporting that this debutante is progressing in the mornings, with some strongly believing that she will be around when it is decision time.
9 – DREAM OF PARIS is a chestnut filly (April 29) by Silent Valor out of Kam To The World trained by Edward Stanberry with Paul Francis in the saddle. Constantly improving, and should hit the board.
10 – LADY BEN is a bay filly (January 9) by Here Comes Ben out of Lady Maragin trained by Michael Marlowe with Linton Steadman aboard. Coming to come, Lady Ben can best hope for a place on the board.
