KINGSTON, Jamaica – Two from two for apprentice Christopher Mamdeen as he now joins leader rider and former 6-time champion Omar Walker at the top of the jockeys’ tables on 25 wins each.
Mamdeen just won the second race on today’s 11-race card on the Steven Todd trained Prince Kamali.
This time, Mamdeen went to the lead but was taken off and waited to strike on the inner rails in deep strecth, defeating Formal Justice and the 1-2 odds on favourite Rambunctious Links.
The second race was a Claiming $350,000 - $300,000 event run over 5 ½ furlongs. Prince Kamali clocked 1:09.2.
